Delivery of your new lease vehicle

It’s almost here; your new lease vehicle is about to be delivered! Below you can find more information about the delivery date and an informative video explaining the delivery process.

When and how will I receive my car?

While you’re daydreaming about driving your new car, we’re taking care of some important things for you behind the scenes. We’re getting the vehicle insured, requesting the registration papers and applying for the fuel card/charging card (if applicable). We’ve created an informative video (in Dutch) showing you what to expect upon the delivery of your new lease car.

Is this your first time driving an electric car? If so, we’ve put together some useful tips to help you get started. 

What is the delivery date?

Have you ordered a new lease vehicle? If so, you probably can’t wait until your new car is delivered. To keep you informed about the expected delivery date, we regularly ask the dealer to update the delivery date in our system. Check My ALD to see the latest expected delivery date for your vehicle. Here you can also find the contact details for the dealer and some additional information about your new lease car. 

Tips for your lease car

  • If you have a fuel card, always remember to enter the odometer readings after filling up with fuel.
  • Also make sure to fill up the car with the correct fuel! If you accidentally do fill up with the wrong fuel, do not start the engine under any circumstances and call our emergency number.
  • Regularly check the tyres, the air conditioning, the oil level and the other liquids in accordance with the user manual of your lease car.
  • Report any damage – no matter how small – within 48 hours.
  • Have the car serviced by an official dealership.
  • Always remember to carry a damage claim form in the vehicle at all times.

Use by third parties

There is no objection to the use of your lease car by third parties, as long as they hold a valid Dutch driving licence and handle the car with care. Naturally, your employer may have a different set of conditions.
