ALD Automotive and Munsterhuis Lease to join forces

HOOFDDORP, 30 June 2015 – Leasing company ALD Automotive and Munsterhuis Lease are to join forces as of 1 July 2015. Starting on that date, Munsterhuis Lease will transfer operational management of its 800-plus contracts to fellow leasing company ALD Automotive. The alliance will bring economies of scale to both parties. Their clients will benefit from the combination of local expertise and the facilities of a global player.

“For Munsterhuis Lease the alliance is an opportunity to offer clients a broader package of mobility solutions, with the personal service to which its clients have become accustomed,” Director Jochen Munsterhuis explains.

For ALD Automotive the alliance fits within its strategy of autonomous growth, where possible complemented by acquisitions. General Director Carel Bal: “Our core values match up well. ALD Automotive’s expertise and facilities match perfectly with Munsterhuis Lease’s knowledge and network, which is so firmly anchored in the east of the Netherlands. And here, too, our expertise in offering ‘white label’ lease services were a deciding factor in the alliance.”

The Munsterhuis Lease name will be maintained, as will its sales office in Hengelo. Current contracts will continue as they are, meaning that in practice Munsterhuis Lease clients will notice little of the new alliance.
