That results in a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

Useful information
In contrast to cars, motorcycles are not subject to the lump-sum additional tax charged for private use. This is because motorcycles are taxed based on the actual number of kilometres ridden for private use, for the actual price per kilometre. You may operate the Piaggio MP3 scooter with a normal driver’s license, but you must wear a helmet. Upon request, Piaggio Benelux offers a free one-day training course with the purchase of the MP3, with professional instructors from the Royal Netherlands Motorcycle Riders Association. Protective clothing is not required, but it is recommended. If the invoice for the protective clothing is in the name of the employer, and the costs are included in the company’s annual report, then the company can also request a refund for the VAT.
